First induction bending machine in Europe

HD Reisholz Induction bends

The roots of the company BENDS and WELDS International Products GmbH date back to 1928. It was then that Paul Kahle founded a pipeline construction company in Düsseldorf.

In 1970, a new location was established in Düsseldorf-Reisholz. The first inductive bending machine in Europe constituted the heart of the Company. During the course of the following years, the production sector was extended by induction bends for the oil and gas industry. It’s top class quality products are used in coal or gas-fired power stations, atomic power stations, in plants in the petrochemical industry and in long-distance oil and gas pipelines.

In 1981, Paul Kahle Rohrleitungsbau GmbH together with ARG Mineralölbau GmbH were sold to Ferdinand Lentjes. This gave rise to Lentjes Anlagen- und Rohrleitungsbau GmbH, which was taken over by Voest Alpine mce, a subsidiary of the Austrian VA TECH group.

The independent company HD Reisholz GmbH was created from the production unit of Lentjes Anlagen- und Rohrleitungsbau GmbH in 1995. It still produces and sells induction bends for gas, oil and water pipelines and industrial plants in the Reisholz factory in Düsseldorf.

The former management and the know-how bearer of HD Reisholz GmbH founded the spin-off company BENDS and WELDS Products GmbH and the production company HJH PIPETECH spol. s.r.o at the beginning of 2000. BENDS and WELDS International Products GmbH, H.J.H. PIPETECH spol. s.r.o. and H.J.H. PIPESERIVCE are certified as a group in accordance with ISO 9001, whereby BENDS and WELDS Products GmbH is responsible for all commercial, technical and qualitative duties.
